For painting company owners

Win the bid. Keep the crews busy.

We work alongside established painting companies on estimating, winning jobs, the office, and hiring, so growth doesn't all run through you.

What changes

You've built a name for clean work. Now the company needs to grow without you on every estimate and every call.

Here's what we take on with you.

  • Today: Calls and estimate requests wait until the end of the day, and the customer hires the next painter.

With Framework: Every call and web lead answered in minutes, with the walk-through booked the same day.

  • Today: Every estimate is built from scratch, so prices change from job to job.

With Framework: Estimating templates and one proposal process you use on every job.

  • Today: You lose jobs to low bids, or win them and lose money.

With Framework: Proposals that show your prep and finish, followed up until the customer decides.

  • Today: A finished job ends with the last coat, and the neighbors never learn your name.

With Framework: Review requests, yard signs, and referral asks after every job, so each finished house brings the next one.

  • Today: Deposits, invoices, and crew schedules happen at night.

With Framework: Deposits at signing, clean books, and a schedule the office runs without you.

  • Today: You want another crew, but finding painters you trust feels like a gamble.

With Framework: We help you plan the hire around the numbers, then recruit, onboard, and train.

What we work on

You know the work. We help build everything around it.

  1. 01

    Winning jobs

More of the right customers, at prices that pay for proper prep.

    • Google Business Profile, reviews, and search campaigns
    • Yard signs and door hangers around every finished job
    • Nextdoor in the neighborhoods you already paint
    • Property manager and HOA outreach
    • Referral program for past customers
  2. 02

    Estimating and the office

The calls, walk-throughs, and proposals that decide whether a lead becomes a job.

    • Phone and chat coverage, so leads get a fast answer
    • Estimating templates for consistent prices on every job
    • Proposals and e-signed agreements the same day
    • Follow-up on every open estimate
  3. 03

    Scheduling and billing

Keeping crews on the right jobs, and getting paid for them on time.

    • Crew, material delivery, and customer scheduling in one place
    • Deposits, invoices, and collections on a set process
    • Review requests after every job
    • Clean books and a monthly view of revenue and margin by job
  4. 04

    Hiring painters

When the schedule is full, the next crew needs painters you'd trust on a customer's property.

    • A hiring plan tied to the schedule and revenue
    • Job posts, screening, and interviews
    • Written prep, finish, and cleanup standards for every crew
    • Crew lead training, so you can move into estimating and quality control

Where growth comes from

Estimates, referrals, and the next crew.

In painting, growth is rarely one big campaign. It comes from estimates that win at a fair price, finished jobs that bring in the neighbors, and a second crew when the first is booked.

  • Consistent estimates, so every job is priced to make money
  • Fast follow-up on every open proposal
  • Referrals and reviews from every finished job
  • Property manager and commercial work added when the crews can carry it
  • Another crew, planned around the numbers, with you in estimating and quality control

How it works

From first conversation to a plan in writing.

  1. 01

    Tell us about the business

What you do, how long you've done it, and what's in the way. About three minutes.

  2. 02

    Talk it through

Where the business is and where you want it to go. We can look at the numbers together.

  3. 03

    Get a plan in writing

What we'd work on, what we'd put in, and the terms. Nothing is agreed until it's in writing.

  4. 04

    Build it together

We work with you on customers, systems, and hiring, and track progress against the plan.

The terms

We only earn on the growth we help create.

Our fee is a share of the incremental revenue above where your business is today. If revenue doesn't grow, we don't get paid. The exact terms are in writing before anyone commits.

Who we work with

Painting companies with a strong reputation and room to grow.

  • A licensed painting company in the Bay Area, with a C-33 license, bonding, and insurance
  • A steady flow of residential or commercial jobs
  • A reputation you've earned for prep, finish, and cleanup
  • Want to grow beyond what you can run yourself
  • Open to changing how things get done

What you don’t need

  • You don't need a team.
  • You don't need a marketing plan.
  • Your books don't need to be perfect.

We care about what you've built and where you want to take it.

Questions

Questions from owners

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, email us.

Do I have to switch my estimating or job software?

No. We work in the software you already use when it does the job. If something is holding you back, we'll talk it through before changing anything.

We're a one-crew company. Is that too small?

Not necessarily. Many owner-operators have a full schedule and no time to grow it. Tell us about the business and we'll say plainly whether we can help.

Interior, exterior, or commercial?

We start where your business already is. For most companies that means residential repaints first. Commercial and property management work come in when the crews and schedule can carry them.

What are the terms?

A share of the incremental revenue we help create, above where your business is today. We put the exact terms in writing, and nothing is agreed until you've said yes.

How is this different from a painting marketing agency?

An agency sells you leads and gets paid either way. We work on the whole path from call to estimate to signed job to paid invoice, plus hiring, and we only earn when revenue grows.

What does it cost to talk?

Nothing. The first conversation is free, with no obligation.
