For bookkeeping firm owners

Add monthly clients. Close the books on time.

We work alongside established bookkeeping firms on monthly clients, onboarding, the office, and hiring, so growth doesn't all run through you.

What changes

You've built a client list that trusts you. Now it needs to grow without you on every close.

Here's what we take on with you.

  • Today: Inquiries wait in your inbox while you close the month, and the owner hires someone else.

With Framework: Every call and web inquiry answered quickly, with a clear next step to a consultation.

  • Today: New clients arrive one at a time, from whoever happens to refer them.

With Framework: Outreach focused on the kinds of businesses you know best, plus steady referral relationships.

  • Today: Cleanup projects end, and the client never moves to monthly service.

With Framework: Cleanup and monthly work priced separately, with a clear path from one to the other.

  • Today: Clients send documents late, and the close slips every month.

With Framework: Document requests, monthly checklists, and reminders that keep the close on schedule.

  • Today: Proposals, onboarding, and your own billing happen at night.

With Framework: Service packages, clear proposals, and an onboarding process that runs without you.

  • Today: You want to add a bookkeeper, but training and review feel like a gamble.

With Framework: We help you plan the hire around the numbers, then recruit, train, and set up review.

What we work on

You know the work. We help build everything around it.

  1. 01

    Monthly clients

More of the right clients, in the industries you already understand.

    • Google Business Profile, search campaigns, and a website that explains your services
    • Service packages built around the kinds of businesses you serve best
    • Relationships with the tax preparers and other advisors your clients use
    • Outreach to business owners in your specialty
  2. 02

    Proposals and onboarding

The calls, proposals, and first weeks that decide whether a prospect becomes a monthly client.

    • Phone and email coverage, so inquiries get a fast answer
    • Proposals and engagement agreements sent the same day
    • Onboarding checklists and secure account access setup
    • Clear scope, so cleanup work and monthly work stay separate
  3. 03

    Retention and billing

Keeping the clients you've earned, and getting paid for the work on time.

    • Recurring billing for every monthly client
    • Document collection and monthly checklists that keep closes on time
    • Scope reviews when a client's needs grow
    • Clean books and a monthly view of firm revenue and margin
  4. 04

    Hiring bookkeepers

When your client list is full, the next hire needs to be someone you'd trust with client records.

    • A hiring plan tied to client load and revenue
    • Job posts, screening, and interviews
    • Documented workflows that make training faster
    • Review steps and client handoff

Where growth comes from

Monthly clients, on-time closes, and the next bookkeeper.

In bookkeeping, growth is rarely one big campaign. It comes from more monthly clients in a clear specialty, closes that happen on time, clients who stay, and a second bookkeeper when your time is full.

  • More monthly clients in the industries you know best
  • Cleanup projects that turn into ongoing monthly service
  • Fewer late closes through document requests and checklists
  • Service packages that grow as clients' needs grow
  • A second bookkeeper, planned around the numbers

How it works

From first conversation to a plan in writing.

  1. 01

    Tell us about the business

What you do, how long you've done it, and what's in the way. About three minutes.

  2. 02

    Talk it through

Where the business is and where you want it to go. We can look at the numbers together.

  3. 03

    Get a plan in writing

What we'd work on, what we'd put in, and the terms. Nothing is agreed until it's in writing.

  4. 04

    Build it together

We work with you on customers, systems, and hiring, and track progress against the plan.

The terms

We only earn on the growth we help create.

Our fee is a share of the incremental revenue above where your business is today. If revenue doesn't grow, we don't get paid. The exact terms are in writing before anyone commits.

Who we work with

Bookkeeping firms with loyal clients and room to grow.

  • An established bookkeeping firm in the Bay Area with a clear service scope
  • A base of monthly clients
  • A reputation you've earned with business owners
  • Want to grow beyond what you can run yourself
  • Open to changing how things get done

What you don’t need

  • You don't need a team.
  • You don't need a marketing plan.
  • Your books don't need to be perfect.

We care about what you've built and where you want to take it.

Questions

Questions from owners

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, email us.

Do I have to switch my software?

No. We work in the software you already use when it does the job. If something is holding you back, we'll talk it through before changing anything.

Does this include tax preparation?

The focus is bookkeeping. Tax preparation, audits, and other regulated services need separate review, and those decisions stay with you.

Who sees our client records?

Client records stay in your systems, under your control. We work on the business side of the firm, and we set up account access carefully when a task needs it.

What are the terms?

A share of the incremental revenue we help create, above where your business is today. We put the exact terms in writing, and nothing is agreed until you've said yes.

How is this different from a bookkeeping marketing agency?

An agency sells you leads and gets paid either way. We work on the whole path from first call to monthly client to paid invoice, plus hiring, and we only earn when revenue grows.

What does it cost to talk?

Nothing. The first conversation is free, with no obligation.
